As an artist, or creator, you have moments in life when a light bulb goes off…and let me tell you, this light bulb was BRIGHT! I purchased a wood burning kit to experiment with one weekend, and a slice of wood from the craft isle at Jo-Anns to practice on. Then, while drinking coffee, I felt like painting and wondered how this wood piece would except paint. Well one thing let to another, and I created my first mountainscape on a square board with acrylic paint, and a metallic paint marker. Then after showcasing the result to my husband in his wood shop, I though, why not cut OUT the mountains?! From there, it is now history as these are some of my favorite items to create, with loving help of my husband, Paul.
